About
I founded PathSolutions (formerly NetLatency) in 1998 to create a network monitoring platform that is:
-
Easy to use/learn (no SNMP or OID research required)
-
Lightweight (no other technologies required like Java, SQL server, etc.)
-
Rapid to setup
-
Powerful (automatic interrogation of network devices to determine which SNMP counters should be queried)
I’ve worked for over 20 years in the networking industry in a variety of roles from Network Administrator to Director of Internet Operations for a web portal.
I’ve also taught networking classes at the College of San Mateo.
In my leisure, I enjoy running, wine tasting, flying, and online gaming (I’m currently dealing with a World of Warcraft addiction).
